View Full Version : I'm back....
Well the last couple years been a bit rubbish.. Uni meant I had no time and no money for riding my Tl :( got a job though now I am finished and decided to get a bike back, unfortunately though after much reluctance I decided the Tl just wasn't practical for commuting in town. So I decided to look at getting something else and perhaps the bike I have been after since it came out, the daytona 675. Started looking at second hand ones, went into the dealer here and had a go of the demonstrator. Cut a. Long story short I picked up a new 675R yesterday... Breaking in the engine sucks,150 miles down!

And then I wanted to great my dad out on the rode (it's been about 30 years) so I got my old trusty xj out the shed, fresh battery, petrol and oil... Cranked and started. Love Japanese bike reliability!
So we went for a wee ride

So you ditch the Tl because it's not practical for commuting in town and replace it with that most humble of A-B workhorses...
the Daytona 675R
Excellent choice! :-)
Ha h yeah getting 56mpg just now much better than the tt, also far better than the tl! May be down Edinburgh way on Friday if any one is about?
Oh my lordy Aaron, that's a fecking awesome upgrade. You'll soon get those miles on the clock to fully enjoy it.
:D
Yeah just rolled over 520miles... May be going down to Edinburgh over the weekend too so that will rack up more.
And yet another one turns to the dark side........this might as well be a trump forum...lol.
Not a bad bike.
