Has anyone cut open a tube of Colgate? I don't understand how it all comes out striped, even towards the end of the tube. Doesn't feel like 3 sections in the tube.

I believe the colour/patterning secret lies in the neck/nozzle
of the tube. If you cut it open you would find it all white. It's only when it reaches the top and comes out that the colouring and patterns are formed, hence the reason its consistent til the very end. But I've never cut the tube in half so try it and let us know if its all white inside.

It's simply put into the tube as you see it.. On a thicker form.
I had to watch something on it in one of my business classes. The amount of quality control a tube of Colgate goes through is insane

I'm going to get a tube at lunch and have a look tonight. Will post pics or if I can be bothered a video :)

While we're on this, look up a video of a toothpaste tube being formed. Bizarrely cool.

Cool, I intend to do the same but probably won't leave work til late so may not get a chance.

I looked at my half used tub this morning and whilst the cap unscrews, it's difficult to see anything in the tube. We need to sort this out once and for all.
