Looking at getting an sv650s for mainly track use and little bit of road riding. I used to own pointy sv650s so I know how they're pretty good.
I'm looking at changing the shock, forks and oil and putting race fairing on so in the event of a crash it won't cost a fortune to put it back on the road.
So which would be better a curvey or pointy I'm looking at a budget of £2000 budget, may be a few hundred more in time.
Thanks
Buy my Curvy for £1000 and have a grand left over. ;)

A question I also seek opinion on. I'm looking at SVs to use on the road initially and then for track days and possibly the odd race and for the first time thinking that a curvy might be a very cost effective solution (and my son thinks the curvy looks better).
Is a fully prepped (for minitwin racing) curvy competitive vs a late model fully prepped pointy? Seems the main difference is carbs vs injectors, different cams and a lighter, stiffer frame on the pointy. Oh, and significant price difference.
