Having just seen this (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-23785323), I wonder if you have any terrifying incidents you'd like to disclose?

There was a certain amount of TIC from me. :-) Basically her boat broke down.

Terrifying incidents on par with Jennifer Ellison's 'Terrifying Incident'?

Let me see.

Stubbed my toe this morning.
B&Q were out of stock of some foil bubble insulation.
Dropped my sandwitch.
Missed a call on my phone.

Pretty hairy day so far.

Terrifying ?
Coming over the brow of a hill at speed on your bike to find a vintage steam roller blocking your path is terrifying, especially with oncoming traffic blocking any potential overtake.

Having no work for a few weeks and not being able to pay bills is more terrifying than an engine cutting out on a boat, stupid cow.

Having Chris Guy's pilotless VF750 hurtling towards you at +100mph on the IOM

Being impaled on the barbed wire fence in the neck as we all did a backward roll off the verge was the best option compared to being splattered by the careering bike.

If she thinks that's a terrifying sea experience, then try the Pentland Firth, with big green ones going over the top of the wheelhouse, whilst your ship does a submarine impersonation

Brock Badger got a flash of one of my nipples as I tried to get into the ill fitting sparkly bikini at AR last year. I think he's still got PTSD and needs therapy twice weekly.

Surely any gilr/woman who dons such outfits has nipples that men would generally want to see?!

Crikey! Tho in fairness, it was probably more nerve wracking for him...

Did he not hang a CD from it? :dj:

Getting an email from Chris886's mum saying he was in a coma in Bangkok heart hospital after a cardiac arrest. I really thought I'd finally got rid of him but the git pulled through.

As pointed out, he's a young lad, so I am sure he is "self medicating" more often than that :p

I thought I'd run out of pesto earlier as the jar in the fridge had gone off. Just as I was about to ring 999 for help I found a fresh jar in the cupboard just in time.

Seriously this was actually a genuine emergency... ran out of teabags at work.

Actually thought of another one come to mention it... we were out on the boat the other week and ran out of donuts.

Do you mean you'd run out proper or just that you had only (as Kathy Burke once said) "poncey flowery tea" - Earl Grey - surely a weakness of southern softies that a professional northerner wouldn't be seen dead drinking? :-)

For all intents and purposes run out proper, as you correctly surmise I wouldn't drink that pot-pouree in a bag dish water crap anyway! To my great shame I once tried some, actually found that there are worse things in life than rat-pack powdered tea :)
