Sorry Mods i dont know what section this should go in
Ive been offered a complete K1 GSXR 750 front end including yokes, wheel, calipers etc for a fair price. ( i guessing this all fits from what ive searched?)
Just wondered how much my complete K3 pointy front end is worth and how hard would it be to sell
Thanks
Shouldn't be hard to sell, have a look on ebay for what equivalent parts are going for. I'd split it out and sell wheel, yokes, forks, brake calipers mudguard separately.
The front wheel and forks are likely to be the items that sell fastest, for the most money.

Maybe i should start a new thread
But i have the choice of a set of k1 GSXR 750 forks or K2 GSXR 1000 forks?
Whats my better bet for a pointy, both of these are USD forks but have the non radial brakes.
Im about 12.5 stone and just plan to refresh the fork oil in them and fit
Thanks
both will bolt straight onto a pointy with no problems.
having had the 1000 k1-2 i would recommend you stay away from them. they are Kayaba and the gold Ti coating comes off the stanchions they are also very firm so tend to skip on bumps also stay the feck away from the 6 pot callipers. at 12.5st (13.5st kitted up) your pushing the standard springs to the limit for track use but will be good for road use. the K1 750 forks are good and there are plenty cheep callipers to be had for them. both 1000 and 750 use the same wheel, spindle, mudguard yokes etc.etc. if you get decent condition OEM discs the speedo setup is a doodle as they are all the same 320mm discs and have 8 buttons.
the wheel is the problem and are rare in good condition. but as your not using radial callipers there is an easy workaround to use the cheaper and more readialy available earlier wheels that have the same bolt hole spacing for the discs.
the workaround for the earlier wheel is 1mm spacers at the back of the calliper lugs and 3.5mm off the spindle spacer/nut. don't bother taking the excess of the spindle as it will only stick out the knuckle by 3.5mm.
you might want to source a pair of TL clipons as i'm sure that the early gsxr ones foul the fairing.
as well as servicing the forks (use 5wt oil) strip and service the callipers.
before you buy any of the forks check the stanchions for pitting as if they are you'll wreck the seals and new stanchions wll set you back £200 plus fitting.
