Identifying Pointy indicators?

I have a few spare indicators for pointy and was going to sell them, how do I tell which side , front or back they are ?? They all look pretty much identical. I can see the left from right but can a left front go on the rear back ???

fronts have shorter bolt. the drain hole should be downwards as to the hand.
