Anybody ever go to Squires?

Squires, in Sherburn I think it's called, just out of leeds.

Does anybody ever go? Every Wednesday and Sunday it's rammed full of people, somebody on here must go?

He's a cracking bloke too. I think he usually pops over on a Sunday.

Very occasionally, I tend to go matlock if I need to be around loads of bikes, nicer area and more to do.

Only when there's something there to visit - the rest of the time there are too many **** measuring types, amateur stuntmen and police. As a result, I might go once a year.

Similar to what Ollie says.
It used to be a weekly haunt for the org on a Wednesday night but the high number of knobs lead to easy pickings for the police so it sort of took the fun out of the place. I actively try to avoid going now and have done for a few years only stopping in when enroute to somewhere else.

Think the last time I went as part of a group was when Dave Numbers got pulled by the plod for his loud can.

I pulled the clutch in and whistled as I rode past him in the layby just above Squires. We used to regularly meet at Tingley roundabout at the Bear pub, a regular 10 or so in numbers, taking the interesting route there on a Wednesday evening.

No idea. It used to be a regular trip for me during the week, not been for a year or two. Theres always bikes parked up down there though, popular spot. Nice fish and Chips :cool:

That routes a cracker. Its not that far, but then I know it like the back of my hand.

Go over to squires regular on a weds and a sun am dependent on what we've got on
There was quite a onto gent a few year ago used to meet up and ride over but people move on and all that
See quite a few Svs up there so good chance they'll be aware of the forum

I was down there earlier, its nice to just chill down there sometimes. Never come across anybody nobbish enough to notice.

Matlock Bath is a bit like a seaside resort without the sea. Lots of nice roads locally. Very popular Peak District meeting place on a weekend. It has a little more character than a pub car park.

I only live 5 miles away and maybe call in 5 times a year. They will have there annual show soon which is good on the saturday but just classic bikes on the sunday. Just be careful if you plan to drive past the entrance which i do a lot of. Not so much SMIDSY but 'look its a motorcycle obviously he will be turning in'.

Been loads of times, nice spot. never any hassle with the plod.

Planning on pitching up tent there in a couple of weeks for the stinkwheels weekend but prob just nip over to Whitby for fish & chips sat afternoon.
