Poor petrol consumption - Pointy.

my petrol consumption has went so bad recently tried changing plugs, cleaning air filter and properly inflating tyres but its still really bad... any ideas?

Have you checked the brakes aren't binding? Does the engine idle and otherwise run normally?

On that I'd expect an average 50mpg on mainly motorway riding. So that's about 180 mile a tank then the engine stops running.

suppose ill put up with it for another year till i can get it removed :( yeah idle is fine and brakes are fine. getting like 35 mpg i think

Make an account on fuelly and see what mpg you're actually getting? I thought mine was getting terrible mpg, but turned out to actually be doing about 55mpg.
