what does single plug mean? and what other mods are required to use this cpu?

K3-k6 sv650's ecu is a single plug connection whereas k7+ is a twin plug connections. And none simply swap out ecu's and bike goes from unrestricted to restricted

so plugging that into a 2003 - will that increase HP +33hp?

If you passed a motorbike test under the age of 21 up until recently you were allowed a maximum of 33bhp for 2 years. Now it's more complex. A Stock sv650 puts out 68bhp. This part would replace the standard ECU to cut the power roughly in half for a 2003-2007 bike making you compliant with the law on a restricted licence. From 2007ish the ECU changed and the part needed is different.
