My brother has been using my SV650 occasionally since I bought my RSV1000, but I'm after a another bike and I can't keep three so it will have to go. I have been scouring adverts trying to get an idea of the price I should be pitching it at, but haven't really found anything similar in condition or mileage, so would appreciate the orgs opinion.

It's a red K5 with factory lower fairings in genuinely immaculate condition with very low milage (6400 miles). Long MOT and Tax (10 months each or so, tbc). I have all the original manual and documents etc. with service history.

I know mods tend not to increase value very much, but just for the sake of completeness:
R&G crash bungs
Cartridge emulators
ZXR14 rear shock (have original as well)
Genuine Suzuki gel seat.
Delkevic can, including baffle (have original can + joiner)
MRA double bubble screen (have original)
Just fitted a set of sintered pads about 500 miles ago.
Pirelli Diablo Strada tyres with about 1000 miles on them.

I appreciate its not the ideal time to be selling, but as it's going toward another bike that shouldn't matter so much I suppose. There seem to be plenty of bikes advertised for well over 2k for much less tidy, higher mileage and lowered spec'd bikes, but that doesn't mean they are actually getting that, so what's a realistic price?

put the bike back to standard then sell the bling bling.

dealers much prefer standard bikes over modded ones.

you might get £1750-2000 from a dealer depending on your new bike price and how keen they are for the sale.

private i would say around the £2000-2250.

if you want a fast sale then sell cheep.

another thing to consider is a restrictor, this opens up a bigger market.

Thanks, that's pretty much in line with my expectations. I was concerned I was maybe being unrealistic.
