Brake discs Pointy vs Curvy?

Hi All
Got a front disc for my 08 sv650 today and its not the same as what I have, the new disc is flat where my one has the middle sticking out so now not sure which model I have.
My discs look like this

I can't seem to insert pictures but it's just me not knowing how

best put a pic of your bike up as the 'dished' discs are for the curvy and since you say you have an 08 then there is something not quite right.

an 08 should have flat discs.

are you sure that your bike is not a 1998

Could be that someone put an old style front wheel and rotors on your bike?

That is a Curvy disc.
It might have curvy front on. Got a pic of your front end?
