Hi Guys,
Well yesterday was a pretty S**T day for me!
On the way home from work i noticed every time i indicated either left or right both indicators would flash.....
Im stumped ive read a few things saying it might be the actually switch on the handle bars but has anyone had any experience with this.
Need it sorted this weekend as i use the bike everyday!

So probably your Lg (Light Green) and B (Black) Wires are connected together somewhere.
So it's probably either going to be in you leftahand switchgear, righthand switch gear, Speedo or Loom.
You can discconect right hand switch gear and speedo in turn from the loom and see if the problem goes away (either with multimeter on Ohms across Lg and B or by switching on your indicators).
Left hand switch gear testing involves disconnecting from loom and testing for Lg and B connection when turn signal selected.
If none of these shows your fault then it's llikely the problem is in the loom so track the Lg and B wires and look for loom damage (rubbing, chafing etc).

Orpington. Sounds like you've a short or bad earth somewhere. Thats where i would start looking.

Check behind the wiring harness clip on the frame just off the headstock, I've seen it shorting there where the protective wrap has worn through.

Problem is i wouldnt have the first clue on where to start looking for wiring problems! Never been my strong point apart from fitting the odd dodgy car stereo every now and then when i was a teenager! lol Orpington isnt far from me tbh i live at Canary Wharf but play football in Eltham every monday....

Pop over one evening, more than happy to help another rider.
I'm usually home 6ish, Eltham is only a few miles further in. That work for you?

Hazard light relay checked, alarm fitted?
My thoughts were flasher relay - when the LEDs were installed did you swap the relay or add resistors (hint one of these is the right way, the other a bodge that just produces heat)
Of course, could just be the Reg/Rec, it usually is (:p)

Standard indicators on this bike. And yes Ian it has a Datatool System 3 Alarm fitted which i been meaning to get removed for the past month just need to find someone who has the know how to do it.
Where is the hazard light relay?
@atassiedevil Well im home from 5:30 most nights so PM me a good night to pop over and ill make sure im free and ill ride down to you mate :)
Wouldn't you want to keep it alarmed?
You joke about the R/R but i had a nightmare with bulbs on my last bike and culprit was the reg.
Does it happen in any bar position or when only turned one way?

Think you still have my details and number. I'm off work now for 8 days. pick a day/time. My suspicions are it's the relay or a bad connection. I take it it's a pointy?

Yes its a pointy mate.
Yes think i have your details. Do you have somewhere to work on the bikes after work hour's? (e.g 6ish?)
