The F is in for an MoT in the morning and even though the shop is only a mile from home I may just take a bit of a detour to get home as the weather forecast is good :). On my own for the weekend so can't go too far as I'm technically dog sitting.

Took today as I've got Chris8886 staying with me all weekend so we made a massaman beef curry for dinner tonight and a load of cupcakes. THese are to take to Saffron Walden tomorrow as a little gift for my hairdresser and her girls, no reason, just to be nice. So a mooch round SW town, maybe buy some new clothes and frocks for winter (me, not Chris), then a lazy Sunday and a roast leg of lamb on Sunday evening.

I got spiked last night, so all plans of me leaving the house have been cancelled. May just fix the little niggly things on the SV
nothing worse.
could have been if you had woken up in a dark room with a rubber suit and a ball gag on though.

Had a good ride out down the A20 this morning. (oakdene/holyville cafes, and a ride around)
Quietened down the VF750F as it was far too noisy, and adjusted the bars on the SV as the position was making my hands tingle.
Currently waiting for mase_tw to turn up so we can fix his indicators....
Roast pork for later on.....mmmmm.

Decorating the master bedroom.
So bed chucked out as we are going to get a new one. carpet gone, coving off, wall paper off walls/ceiling.
Just fitted 3 extra sockets, two above where her dressing table will be, third t'other side of where the bed is going.
But now the grief part. i have condemned the plaster on one wall. crazed, some parts knocks hollow. time to get a man in. i don't mind doing a skim. But a full 14ft wall isn't worth bodging.
Weather looked great. But as you can guess Lynne has an agenda

Went to Saltaire yesterday. Ate cake, read some books, looked at David Hockney paintings and went to view some Italian bikes.
Drank lots of red wine, got a hangover
Fry up this morning, loads of coffee, went to Ladybower on the bike. Met Orose, saw two bike crashes. Too many eager riders out there enjoying the sun.

I am starting to worry about the folks in here, especially as I am such an innocent little flower... :flower:
As for my weekend, chronic pain and bed rest meant I missed out on a party and a bike show.

Helping to set up a field full of jumps and stuff tomorrow morning, probably in the rain, then boys music school concert after lunch. Sunday is the show itself 'til mid afternoon, so no time for bikes this weekend. Boo

Whereas what he should be doing is reading the bar thread and getting me another drink, he makes better drinks than I do, I mad a cup of tea in the office this week and forgot about it, I left them brewing for 45 minutes, bless him he drunk it, I couldn't I threw mine away.
That tea sounds great Mrs DJ. I used to go to a caf in brum that did their tea in an urn. Brewed it for hours. The tea was ready when it looked like coffee! :)

No, mine has a foul skin on it, looked like leather, when I tasted it the taste sort of stuck to my teeth it was terrible. They always think that I say my tea is terrible to avoid making it in the office but it really is awful.

Rubbish weather this weekend so not a lot going on....just simple time with the family.
Having a lazy day today, watching the BSB qualifying on the telly box in a bit and having a few lagers...for now just listening to some old indie classics
e.g. 1lyu1KKwC74
Tomorrow might be a meal out to the local American diner whilst they've still got the 2 for 1 burgers on...saves on bothering with a roast for a change
Cleaning 600lbs of moss off my roof then fitting moss prevention strips... Nothing exciting to see here.
