I want to seriously see this air filter!
A choked filter does cut performance quite a bit. Mine got changed after 10 years on the bike and the engine gained back a noticeable amount of Power and torque
Is it running like it was at the GM?
Just thinking out loud after the breakdown you had at GM
Mine got changed after 10 years

Its probably worth working through the following things (had a bit time to think on it):
- Do the air filter
- Seal the tank with POR15 kit or similar http://www.frost.co.uk/por15-motorcycle-fuel-tank-repair-kit.html
- Rebuild the Fuel tap and change the hoses (if you haven't already done it), adding an external fuel filter in
- Get the carb bowls open and give them a clean out (budget for a full rebuild)
- Carb balance
I'm going off what issues I had a few years ago with fuelling
Also shouldn't have yet lanky use it ;)

Usually he doesn't but since the theiving scum nicked his we cant get it to work. We think that in cutting the wiring loom it blew the ecu just and only way to het it repaired is for dave to earn some lolly.... so needs must. Butt I suppose it was found oit now jot 6 months down the line, when weather os picking up

Another problem today power loss eorse but not from engine, rear end not responding and grinding noise, take a closer look and nolt ehich holds fiff to frame gone diff has dropped 1/2 inch, thank christ I spotted it otherwise I would have been looking at dnapped drive shaft or mullered diff, dome boging with an spare sv engine bolt and its now seated correctly snd running smoother.
