These are awesome - mainly because they're good quality for low cost, but also because they have the security torx bits in 'm too.

Thanks for posting this!
I have a day off Thursday and I normally miss the Aldi deals when they come round.
When ever I go there is cheap flower & veg seeds or similar, dad loves it...

I've had mine for 5 yrs without issue. They won't shift uber tight stuff, but when you use the piece on the handle and use the extended bit for leverage, they undo most difficult bolts.
Can be used to do the TPS adjustment too (wish I'd known before I shelled out on a set of Halfords security torx bits :D )

just went aldi shop in Ipswich to get one of these and a torque wrench got to the check out only to be told they don't take credit cards complete wast of my time and petrol.
They never have accepted c/cards. Same with lidl, only debit cards.

Must be something to do with their usual weekday "between jobs" clientele

Aldi did have their own branded credit card and may still do and was the only one they accepted. Otherwise it has always been as you say debit cards. From memory Lidl at one time didn't even take debit cards but these days they also offer cash back at the till when you use your debit card. Aldi is doing very well in the States and I understand that Lidl is considering opening up there as well.

I got some baby stuff from ALDI in Glasgow last week for imminent new arrival (another grandchild).
I bought with mastercard.
My wife took some back (no surprise there) and credit was put back on card.
I have never known Aldi or LIDL to refuse credit cards.
Sorry to be contrary.

From Aldi's website:
Do Aldi accept Credit Cards/Cheques/Healthy start vouchers?
Aldi stores accept cash, Maestro, Delta, Solo and Electron card only. Visa and Master Card credit cards are accepted in Scottish and selected Welsh stores only. In line with many other retailers we no longer accept cheques in store.

How stupid is that ?
Accepting c/cards in Scotland but not here, are the scots less likely to be crims or something?
Absolutely bizarre IMO.
Maybe Aldi use Bank of Scotland and avoid charges north of the border
I'll get my coat

Thanks for clearing this up Madcockney.
I too would not have expected this.
We are not a big shopper at Aldi or Lidl but can say categorically that if cards were refused, I would not be back.
