so around 3 months ago i had the headstock bearings replaced as they were knocking quite bad, i wont name the company who fitted them but they told me after 200 miles to go back to the shop to get them pinched up if needed. i went back and all was cool so they needed nothing, but a couple of weeks ago i noticed that the knocking was slowly coming back so i left it for a while and its just got worse and worse. they supplied the bearings and i have all the receipts but im not sure whether i should go back to them and ask for it to be done out of good will as im certain bearings last longer than 3 months or if i should go to another shop and not use them anymore. i dont thrash the bike and i dont constantly do wheelies so im not sure why they are screwed already, also the steering has gone a lot heavier and another bike mechanic said they are effed.
What should i do??!

Take it back and ask for them to be replaced at their expense.
No two ways about it IMO

Sounds to me like they did nothing more than grease your knack aired bearings and give it back to you. Take it back and call them out on it.
