Shed any tears?
Real men do!
We had a Rossi-esque 'Bye Bye Baby' moment. It was touching and emotional.
Here is the replacement. Nice!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I just made a sex wee, that looks sweet.
Cheers guys. Its a pretty clean 750 variant, except for all the stickers on it. Nothing a hairdryer and some polish cant fix.

Have you had a chance to go for a proper blast on it yet? If so, how does it compare to the SV?

Not really no, but you can instantly feel its more potent than the SV. Feels smaller and more compact than the SV and everything about it is just that more refined. Looking forward to a decent blast on it though to find out how it handles etc.
Looks tidy. Enjoy!
Cheers, I'll try. Once the stickers are off it will look miles better. Cant really see them in the picture but believe me there are some silly ones on there.

With it being that colour all I'm thinking is ...... STEALTH FIGHTER
Finally, a dry day today which means I got to ride the 750 to work. 25 miles over some fairly small b roads and normal a roads. Quite a decent run in really.
Its quick! I didnt throw it about too much as it has new tyres on too so they need scrubbing in but on the straight roads that I went on I wound it up and it pulls really nicely. Brakes feel decent. It has a lovely induction note. Its still fairly comfortable too despite being smaller than the SV. All in all though, so far so good.

knock a tooth off the front to bring it to life, then +2 to the rear to unleash hell!
Best mod you can do to these, besides proper suspension set up

And what does this give you. Do you lose top end.

Youl lose top end but gain so much torque you won't care!
On a serious note the 750 is geared like a litre bike but really needs to be ridden like a big 600. The stock gearing is somewhat tall and who needs to do in excess of 160-170 miles an hour an hour?
However that said the times I've taken it to the Max in 6th on a local airfield I've been nowhere near the redline on stock gearing.
Get a speedo healer or youl wince at knowing you are putting on excessive and above all false mileage on it

I'd have thought the increased revs at normal road speeds would be a tad annoying? Plus running around at increased revs is bound to have an effect on engine wear?

Just put it in 6th at 30. Engine barely idles. And it pulls plenty hard enough still. My engine was hard run in on a dyno so will out last softies anyway :)
Mate has one with a micron exhaust and it sounds lovely!!!
