Pretty awesome over here.
It's eased off at the minute but it's been going constantly for about 3 hours.

Crashed our TV and Broadband signal. Unable to order the Waitrose shopping for tomorrow. The underclass are getting washed down in the rain from Milford to Haslemere. Surrey is collapsing please send help.

umm yes, I was in the control tower watching all the flashes, power getting knocked out and returning all over, hoping the airport doesn't get hit.

Calm as anything here, well, the weather, never the locals.

I'm just up the hill from you and it wasn't great, never got closer than a mile away. Some decent flashes but the thunder was pathetic - actually this wasn't a bad thing as our two year old slept through the whole thing....

However the rain was hard enough to kill sky reception.... had to watch the bake-off final on the FreeView TV upstairs....

I saw some amazing forks of lightning, carried on for 10 mins and then it just chucked it down so heavily.

The dog was not impressed!

we had it over here too, was having a walk in the rain by the beach so it looked really cool from there :)

Saw some big flashes light up the clouds. But in a built up area couldn't see any of the lightning itself.

Glad I hightailed it out of work on time. I was just in my kevlars and rst jacket. would not have been pleasant riding home in that lot.

It was pretty exciting round here last night. Especially when you get the flash and the bang at the same time. Our house was hit by lightening a few years ago and that was pretty exciting too in a "replace everything electronic" kind of way.
