I'm after a new pair of boots to get me through the winter, ideally under £200 and something I can wear in the summer also!

What do you recommend that is 100% waterproof?

Thanks

I've been using these for 18 months, defiantly 100% waterproof (ridden in all weathers) and are warm until you're getting down to about 0*C. Not the most protection and wearable in the summer (they do get warm over 30*C but not more than a little uncomfortable), I ride 300 miles a week and mine are pretty worn out, but I'll be getting another pair of these in the new year. I bought mine in store at Hein Gericke not this eBay page however.

*Edit I feel I should mention that I wear these boots while I work so they're on from seven in the morning until six at night.

I am on my second pair of Sidi Canyons.

Wore the 1st pair day in, day out for 4 years, only replacing them because the soles wore out.

About £225, but for 4 years wear, thats a bargain in my book.

I got these not so long ago: TCX X-Five GoreTex.

BTW I bought them online here:

They are based in Andorra - paid around £40 less than I would at GetGeared (delivery incl.)

I got a pair of spada waterproof boots from infinity. About £80-£90.

They are def water proof but the soles wear out pretty quickly I think. I don't wear mine around too much and they have worn down a lot. I do have a hole in the heel from where I put my side stand down but it has made them leak.

These are utterly fantabulous!

Had them for 5yrs, crashed in 'em, fine trackdays in 'em, ridden in rain and hail with 'em and they have holes in the toes but are still waterproof. I bought a new pair last year but they're still in the box as the old ones are still going strong! Mega comfy, mega waterproof and mega warm in winter.

Thanks for all the suggestions
Tried the TCX on today, too tight on the toes! Really nice boot, and if they were comfortable I'd have walked away with them
Then there was some Spada, only £99 but the zip and general finish was crap, or again I'd have had those
Most comfortable were dainese gortex, followed by Sidi G2 gortex

I'm kind of on the fence...
Didn't really like the double Velcro closing mech on the ancle, if anyone has them (Sidi) I'd love to hear how durable they are?

Cheers

Bought some alpinestar SMS-plus goretex boots a while back, like you tcx boots were too tight as were sidi but these seem a bit wider.

Won't get any change out of £200 but sturdy, hard wearing, totally waterproof (being goretex), protective and genuinely all day comfy.

These are a newer version of mine:

I have the Sidi ST Gore boots, and they are very good. Ridden in some torrential rain, and didn't let a drop in. They bed in fairly quickly, but one thing to note, Sidi's are a very narrow boot, so make sure they are good for you.
