Hello people, this van isn't mine, I'm posting it up here on behalf of a mate who uses the TDR forum, spreading the word..............

Hi all,

Just a heads up, i'll be selling my ever-reliable Ford Transit Connect T230LX LWB HI-TOP van shortly (90bhp).

It has taken me all across the country on trackdays, i've insulated and ply carpetted all the back of the van bar the floor which is standard plywood. The walls and rear door cards i've carpetted over the ply. It looks super neat and tidy, and really does take the chill off it!

I have a full steel bulkhead included with the van.

STORAGE IN THE BACK
I've had two CBR1000's in the back at a squeeze with kit, but I regularly take my own CBR1000 all over with it comfortably fitted in the back. It goes in easily on the left side of the van, front wheel rests against the passenger seat - turn handlebars to the right slightly - two ratchets straps to the bike and its absolutely rock solid. I then have all my gear, genny, spare wheels, tool boxes, spares, and still have a bit of room!

There are 6 tie down points on the floor.
I actually spent the most romantic night of my life sleeping beside my bike funny. Managed to fit a blow up bed (single) beside it while it was in the van along with the other kit at oulton after arriving too late to get in the pits!

VAN ITSELF
Its the T230 LX model, which is the highest spec you could buy. Its got aircon, electric windows, heated windscreen and heated wing mirrors, PAS, ABS and Traction control.

I bought it off a private individual who used it to transport electrical goods. Its never been a builders van as its too tidy - I would not have bought it if it was! Bodywork and paint is in great nick. A slight dent on the corner of the rear bumper just below the rear lights but thats about it.

Front pads probably could do with changing in next 1000 miles, they are included in sale for new buyer.

I looked round a long time for a nice van and found this one - never had ANY problems with it whatsoever in my ownership - its been my daily driver since owning it. I wanted something with good mpg and enough room to fit my bike in - I did my research and this van fitted the bill perfect.

I average about 120 miles to £20 of diesel around town, or more if your doing a motorway run!

2 Keys & logbook present in my name.

Its got some really nice Mondeo ST220 alloys on the van at the minute with bridgestone tyres all at decent tread. I had the alloys refurbed last year, so they are great condition.

Heko wind deflectors.

Drivers side armrest.

Foglights.

Mileage is 98000 miles, partial service history up to 60,000. Then maintained privately thereafter. I serviced it at 95000, and was planning to service at 100,000 so I have all the servicing kit for you INCLUDED in the sale.

Please lookup the engines, they really are bulletproof - they are a transit after all 98k is nothing!

Its 90bhp, and for a van, its quite nippy indeed. It will cruise at 80mph on the motorway all day long.
