Road sv650 to minitwin

As for tomorrow I got day of putting all the bits we took on eBay should be fun ! I be posting pic of the progress as I get on with the bike any tips of course are welcome

If only the rebuilds were so easy!!

Sort suspension and brakes once the engine is sorted, also get in on the emulator group buy!!

Well not a lot going on at the mo bikes engine is still waiting for parts I sold most road parts on eBay now made £320 so not to bad rear sub frame is being made to the front is on Order I decided to go 675 body work with Xmas fast approaching think the build may slow down a bit soon got more to update on i will chow for now :)

Try that again the parts are rolling in also had little clean up today got Nitron track both subframes battery tray rear sets spare wheels even grips the engine all rebuilt just waiting crash bungs to turn up and the farings all systems are go I post load of pics once start putting it together

Need it done by end of Feb for race school I live in Ipswich the bike is being built at more Moto it's ownd by a mate of mine which is quite handy

11 Engine
11.1 Cylinder head, camshafts, cam sprockets, crankshaft, rods, pistons, valves, cylinders and all other engine components must be as homologated. No internal engine, gearbox and clutch parts may be altered or replaced with the exception of the gearshift detent spring, the clutch friction and drive plates and the clutch springs.
11.2 Polishing and lightening of engine parts is not permitted. Balancing or gas flow modifications normally associated with individual tuning are not permitted.
11.3 Compression ratio of the engine must remain as homologated.
11.4 Camshaft timing must remain as homologated.
11.5 No other engine tuning or alteration from the homologated standard is permitted.
11.6 The crankcase/gearbox casing, clutch and generator covers may be protected by additional means, e.g. protective covers made of stainless steel or carbon/Kevlar composites.
11.7 The thermostat may be removed from the housing to aid cooling, if required.
11.8 The maximum horsepower limit for the series is 72 hp SAE measured at the rear wheel. Any machine found to exceed this figure on a dyno selected by the club may be excluded from the results.

1355713558 All is going well fitted the new forks with race tech internals and the porno shock to still waiting for a tab washer for the clutch why the cover still off bloody thing is on back order got to make some changes to the rear subway then I can get the seat unit fitted once the tab washer turns up can fit the rad exhaust oil cooler can fit the fairing also see if the engine runs then it pretty much there. Also booked up race school this week not long till that either

The Race Tech fork internals: Have you gone for emulators or the full cartridge assembly?

I have seen the horrendous price of them, partly why I asked. I'm assuming the build/prep is for the 2014 season? If so, have you decided where you'll be racing?

If you do Anglesey or Oulton this year I'll look out for you.

I only got the rear light and rear subfrane left yeah it was max moto Paul and his brother Craig brought it and now run it

O yeah got my race school pack today and race number am #59 as for the bike wheels gone off to be powder coated and sprayed leaving the wets black got to make some spacers for the seat and refresh the brakes tidy up couple of more bit am there going get fairings done after race school I post some pics once the bike is all done

Hello boys and girls so like I said had race school today I used the pilot road 4 was really cold track i mean cold 1st session of 20mins was wetter than a otters pockets tyres was pretty good everyone else was running wets so I tip toe around track (was brands Indy ) 2nd ses was dry line but still but wet so I pressed on wow tell you what I was impressed 3rd session was dry as you like I was full lean well 80% the track was keeping up with other sv on super corsa I had them in tyre warmers for about 30Mims before sessoin 2 ,3 they was colder when I came in people had the same problem with the supers as for the 3rd ses tyres did a epic job I will be using them again for cold dam day maybw even cold dry to I ran 30psi hot front 28psi rear hot was going a 2 psi increase from cold but if you want to run this on the road I say run 30 30 cold for the road hope this help by the way I pass I am a racer now lol

qualifyed 8th then 6th 5th dnf due to an epic highside last race started 16th finished 7th fastest lap did was a 55 .4

Hello all had Silverstone over the weekend went pretty well finished 4th most of the weekend also had pc3 fitted last week to with full set up every 10% throttle position made big difference and got nice gain in power to 😜
