Arrived at my destination today only to find my rear seat was not there :o Oh no - I mustn't have clicked it down properly! Went back to retrace my steps and 1/2 mile away just after a roundabout there it lay, slightly marked on one corner but otherwise unscathed! Same happened to me on the Gixxer last year so I attached strong elastic. Thought, surely it won't happen two bikes in a row!
But it did. So now if it goes down again it will just dangle and at least be there when I arrive. Anyone else lost theirs or am I the only d***head ? :rolleyes:
When I first thought it had gone forever I said 'ah well - good excuse to get a seat cowl.' But I like to attach a tail bag and it sits nicely on the rear seat so was pleased to see it again. You just don't hear it when it falls.
Make sure you click yours into place!
