Right you orrible lot...
who's up for a weekend of a near 2000 player paintball games on a 700 acre army training estate with cheap paint, tanks, vehicles, pyrotechnics and a massive, liver demolishing p*ssup?
North vs South, shandy drinking southern ponces vs northern monkeys.
2nd-4th may 2014
£60 a ticket including camping
£25 kit rental if needed (this included 2000 paintballs this year)
This year paint was £25/box of 2000. I went through about 3500 playing saturday for about 4 hours and sunday for 8 hours or so.

I might be up for that.
Went to the one near Wakefield last year for a stag do, was a decent day before a **** up in Nottingham.

Basically they set you off from different entrances in the morning and have at it. There are objectives scattered around the field that your team needs to hold through different parts of the day to get points. When shot you go and find a respawn point/marshall to get unpainted and get stuck in again.
It's really quite chilled out though, you can get out of the game whenever to eat/drink/more paint etc. and go back in as many times as you want, they aren't fussy.

This is absolutely nothing like any stag do game of paintball you've ever played
The big difference is you don't know what's around the corner, if there are 4 of you wandering around the next thing you stick your head over a rise in the ground and see 200 people coming the other way!
Or have a breather inside a building and the "small skirmish" that's just broken out turns out to be about half the south of England can't navigate and have mistaken this shed for one of the objectives and start a full assault.

That does sound fantastic - but knowing how unfit I am and how easily I bruise I'm not sure this would be the ideal activity for me to join in.
Damn this looks awesome! Saw a video of a similar thing the yanks do, but they didn't have a TANK!!!!!
Shame my back is so stuffed or I'd be well up for that :(
Will share the link round though so word gets out, hopefully it will hit the 2k mark!!
