Well today ended rather rubbishy for me. Some thicko left his heated grips on on the moped so when came to go home alas no power!! Quick thinking as u can't bump a Ped I googled local scooter shops near York station. Transit motorcycles rift green came up so gave them a ring. He just told me to bring it straight over. Once there he lent me a screw driver and battery jump starter. 5 mins and the Ped was alive!!! No charge or anything just really helpful so thought I'd give them a free bit of publicity!! Now to find the idiot who left the heated grips on????????!

Maybe see if the grips can be re-wired to only work with the ignition is on? Thats how mine are, wouldn't trust the general public to not fiddle with stuff.
Worst was when it was parked in an underground car park for the block of flats only, would come back and high-beam, grips and indicator was engaged. Or in gear.

The carpark at work is 100% safe as it's only accessible to people who work there. ie it's coded and ram proof!!! Plus ids under cover. The Ped is still under warranty so I ain't touching any wiring until the warranty is done with just incase it breaks and they blame my dodgy wiring.

Wow are Transit still in Toft Green? So very nearly got my first ever bike from them, but I thought an RVF400 was to sporty for me - wish I had got it! Funny enough, my current bike has a Transit Motorcycles number plate on it :D
