Came home to find the bike next to mine had blown over in the wind, quite literally just missed my bike by a few cms! http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/24/jyvy9yzu.jpg

Needless to say I have moved my bike over (and did the nice thing by picking his bike up too)

Beg gets belief why people put covers on bikes in these winds. Common sense fail, lucky escape for you that's for sure. Had it toppled on to yours you may well have found yours on its side as well.

He keeps a cover on it 24/7, it falling over was the first time I've seen it move in the 2yrs I've been here!

Are you going to tell him you picked it up? If he doesn't use it that often you can picture the day he finally decides the sun is out enough for a ride, goes out to his bike, removes the cover....and discovers the broken handlebar!

. . . or a 'replica' bike made of coat hangers.
