There have been a couple of threads on here which have mentioned getting parts, both car and motorbike.

Where do people get second hand parts from apart from EBay?

We use a web site called Parts Finder (http://www.partsfinder.co.uk/), they have been pretty good so far.

If you can find one. Most round here have closed down. Tried using a parts finder type site once to replace a wing mirror smashed off my car by an impatient VW owner using my side of the road when I was already using it but there are so many shades of Vauxhall blue and none of the breakers that responded knew which one they actually had... Useful site, worked like a marketplace, but you're limited to the quality of the people that respond.

silverlakes is the big one down here, It's not really a scrappy more a breakers as they only let you into the part where all the total wrecks are kept and keep the salvagable one in a separate compound for breaking...... but there's still some smaller one's dotted about around here.

The one's up allington lane next to my parents are the good old fashion type.
