That reminds me of my test day in Greenford! About 200yds from the end of the test, me and my test Kwak decided to continue through floods - cars were doing it, so I thought if they can I can! I got to the other side, stopped and looked for my examiner....he was still the other side and waved me to continue. He told me when he got off his bike that he only continued because I went through and would have normally gone another way!

Misery: Dozens of flood warnings are currently in force as householders' troubles show no sign of abating

I've been working night shifts because the electric is killing all our water works. Our alarm page is more like a novel for the past 2 nights. I'm awaiting round 3 this evening. And then 4 tomorrow. Brecon is like a giant lake, and my van has been more like a submarine.

Not me but I was doing similar last weekend. As a tip for any of you out there attempting to ride through a flooded road, put your visor down. Because if you don't the bow wave might well come up over the top of the screen and straight into your face...

That's only a puddle, you wouldn't even get your feet wet if you walked it.
