haha. I was expecting to see some super riding in the water that would wow me. What a fail, and what a fool. Looks quite kitted up. Imagine trying to sort yourself out in water with boots, leathers and a lid.

Lucky he was able to get to the bank.More likely he was washed onto a bit of higher ground, good luck rather than good management. He was very lucky not to become entangled in submerged branches etc around those trees.

Never underestimate the power of water. I've crossed a fair few rivers whilst mucking about in Wales, but even when fooling around on the Strada Florida with your mates around you just don't take risks like that. As someone said, what a waste of a perfectly good bike!

Ive done the strata, even at low 'tide' it can be a challenge...
