Wicked Quotes have been good to me, much cheaper than anyone else I've tried. I've found compare the market is the best comparison, whack your details in then go on the website of your top couple and see what they come out with direct.
I'll second wicked quotes was with them last year and I'll get the new Bandit with them too.

try confused bike insurance, another comparison site but has beaten the next best quote I've had for the past 2 years by other insurers and comparison sites, usually by a couple of hundred quid!

Give http://www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk/cheapest-quote-007/?refid=GPPC-MCYCLE-e-t-1t1&gclid=CPyIgfXx5rsCFUbKtAod8VcAQg a go. Always comes up cheaper than anyone else
I've just renewed 10 mins ago with Hastings Direct. They have come down for the second renewal in a row with no changes. My 'no claims' has been at max for a few years so pleased with that drop in premium. I've just paid £127.42 Fully Comp with legal and B/down on a 2005 SV1000S in the Stockport area, but close to Manc post codes. Several mods and accessories included ( BOS cans, R&G's and Gilies rearsets etc ).
Worth a call I think.

Bennett's was my best, just insured this afternoon. Mods, tpft £326.03
That's £275 cheaper than last February when I last had a quote.
Hastings direct we're best for me.
Under £190 fully comp, with all mods declared and replaced 'like for like', and legal cover. With no years no-claims as first bike in 12 years.
A couple of companies quoted about £110-£125 fully comp with bike as standard, but then put it up to £280 when I added the mods. And that was to replace with standard parts!

Went with Hastings premier, £183 fully comp with 2 years ncd, all mods, helmet and leather cover, personal injury cover and £350 excess. Didn't think that was a bad deal
