Grotty Exhaust Downpipe

Like many other SV650s the front exhaust downpipe on my bike looks really grotty.

I am looking for suggestions to turn this eyesore in to a nice looking part of the bike as it should be.

What do you guys do to improve the look of that nasty pipe?

Optiglanz and Autosol are the weapons of chioce, i believe.

Over time the rest of the bike will develop a matching patina which stops the pipe standing out.

Autosol, wirewool and elbow grease works a treat!

Few different grades of wet and dry and hours of autosol. Got mine to come up almost perfect chrome finish. Though it really doesnt last long!

Or also try bar keepers friend. Only a few quid and lasted me a bloody long time
