Hey guys, thought I'd say hello and introduce myself now I've signed up. Just started riding last year, never had anything to do with bikes until then so any advice would be appreciated? Currently riding a slightly battered stock 2003 sv650s, when it's not sliding along the road without me. Anyway, hello all.

It'll be time for the EAR March Meat run fairly soon
We'd better have one this year & you're ideally placed to join us. Hello

Hello mate,
Sorry for the ignorance, what's an EAR March Meat run??
A ride starting at Red Lodge Mildenhall, which involves a sort of circular route from Suffolk, into Cambridgeshire, getting lost and more than 1 U turn. At some point we end up in a particular pub which has a meat raffle on a Sunday lunchtime, which we have won on previous visits. Hence the meat run :D
After that we continue on a random route that usually finishes at Bury St Edmunds.
It is an annual rideout, but it didn't happen last year because of the weather
Welcome. Nice to see a new EAR member.

Sounds great, I'll have a look for a thread in the east anglia section? If I'd be welcome could I join you guys or is that not ok? No worries if not but sounds like a good day out.

Everyone is welcome this is not that kind of forum. That's the domain of the Triumph owners club :-)
Look for the EAR in the regional section on this forum.
