right people I killed my mobile riding in the rain so need a replacement
therefore I have 3 options
1/ buy one off one of you lovely people
2/ buy a cheap nasty one till Aug. then upgrade
3/ go out and get a new contract and pay off the £70 to get out of my old one

so there are a few reasons why im trying option one and option two here before forking out for the next 2 years on a new contract.
I rather put money into a mates pocket than a company's
if it goes all pete tong a day after I buy it, its easier for me to come and kill you
my contact is ok atm so why **** about

so my requirements
decent phone, around the £100 mark, not an iphone (unless someone can give me a fecking good reason to have one)
something akin to the galaxy s3 / s3 mini / sony sp etc
must work fully, don't mind scratches to body just not screen

carp phone, around the pint mark, must have portable wifi hotspot capability, and can make calls , see who's calling me

so I hand it over to you bunch of techy geeks and fashionestas (most likey to have above knocking about due to constant change/upgrading)

cheers

Motorola G can be found for just north of £100
if you shop around, you'll find one at that price...might be network locked though

Non existent personal information security in Android.

Apple closed the most glaring security holes years ago and as much as I'd like to not say it an iPhone is probably the better choice if you value your privacy.

If it's taken a swim, wash of with Distilled, deionised, battery top-up (from Halfrauds et al) water before you stick it in rice, if you are lucky it is just shorting across a couple of points due to crap in what it was dunked as opposed to buggering anything properly.
