Hi All,

I bought this bike very recently but it just doesn't fit the bill. Too noisy and dare I say it, I preferred the upright seating position of the Hornet. So I've already bought a replacement for this one. Kind of testing the waters here as I doubt I'll find someone wanting to buy it but here goes nothing:

2008 SV650S 'sport' in black
Goodish condition
14k on the clocks
MOT's prove mileage
Full Laser exhaust system (twin pipes) Sounds gorgeous and has removeable baffles.
Tail tidy
Rear brake lights incorporate indicators too
DB Screen
Braided Lines, front & rear
2 Keys
Some service history but not a lot
MOT until May, Tax until March I think.
It sat for a while before being used so could do with a little TLC, mostly to the chain & sprockets which were bone dry when I got it.

For the money, it's a bargain I am sure you will agree!!!!

Two payment options;

£1950 for delivery to anyone in the South East of England. Or
£1650 collected from Belgium.

P.S I paid £2250 for it about 3 weeks ago. If it comes to it, I will deliver it in the South East of england but the price goes up £300+ minimum. :-)

Still for sale. If no (foreign) interest, I'll be riding it up to Scotland and sell for £2200 with 6 months more tax on it.

Have got the V5c through now, just shoving an additional 6 months tax on it and advertising it locally for 2000 Euro. I'd stick a tenner bet someone from Germany buys it!!

V5c has arrived.

Just noticed that my asking price of 2000 Euro for local sale here in Belgium does not translate to £1800. It's actually £1650. That is the price I am advertising it for at the moment.

Got any pics. What sort of condition is goodish?

I advertised it (locally) here:

I say goodish but I have a habit of describing bikes in worse condition than they actually are just to avoid any disappointment.

Downsides are it has a pinhole in the rear seat, grab rail paint has been a bit chipped (this seems to be a common issue). Engine cover has a tiny bit of corrosion on it, normal as it's by one of the coolant hoses. Nothing else really.

If only I had seen this 3 weeks ago before I bought my 2004 with 13500 miles for the same price.

Strongly considering taking the exhaust system off and selling it separately. This is based on the fact this bike is about £500 cheaper than any other 'standard' higher mileage k8 so why give money away!! I see people asking for this kind of money for a high mileage K4/5!

OK, now withdrawn from sale as it's going back to Scotland.

If interested... price is £2k with standard exhaust system fitted.

It's now in Fife, Scotland and up on eBay for a last chance to see if someone wants to buy it as is. Otherwise, I go back to Scotland again in May, re-MOT it & return it to standard.
