Hope it's not a Hitlervid.

Weather will be getting better soon, Sunday bikers will emerge from hibernation, don't do this.

Oops.

Rider tried to sue driver? What for I wonder...

Driving on his own side of the road in a careful enough manner to avoid killing a plonker perhaps?

bit unsure about the 'reporting' of this story, no info on location or when it happened, other statistics, expert opinions from local police/safety groups etc. Literally like a journalist found the video and decided to run a piece on it for the Metro.co.uk or something…

update: sorry for bringing the name of the Metro into disrepute… just seen this was on the BT website. I would like to make a formal retraction...

Heres what Oxford Dictionary said to me:

"No results found for “lorryist”."

He could maybe have tried to sue the local council? I know people with damaged suspension have successfully sued the council for repairs.

Wow. The "target fixation " Thing at work.
If the truck driver didn't have a dash cam i think the skid would have put the blame on the bike anyways

You can only sue a council if they knew the pothole was there and hadn't repaired it within a reasonable timescale.

My council (Norfolk) have a rigorous inspection routine and recording system that also records reports from members of the public. Consequently, over 90% of claims for potholes are successfully turned down. Other councils may not be so diligent but you are wasting your time trying to sue Norfolk County Council.
