So I tried starting her up this morning, just like every morning and the battery was dead completely. (lights still came on, just wouldn't attempt to turn over).
The battery is a year old and the bike is a K6 with no previous battery/alternator issues.
After bumping it and getting to work 20 miles away I parked up and cut the engine and tried starting it again just to see if it had charged. I got exactly the same result as I did in the garage...
Is there some possibility that it could just be disconnected or is the alternator foolah'd?
I'll be able to bump it to get home tonight but it isn't ideal and could do with the quickest fix possible.
I'm completely numb to alternators, I don't even know where the bloody thing is so bare it in mind when you try offering advice to a numb nut like me! :)
P.S, I have no multimeter or electrical reading/tester devices :(
Thanks in advance.
