Camera memory card

Can anyone help,while looking through my photos in the camera,I pressed the format button( don't know how I managed that as they're supposed to be idiot proof).The back up system was not set in the camera,have I lost them for good or is it possible to retrieve them. Many thanks

You can get someone to do it for lots of money. Or someone who knows a little about computers can do it with a Linux system repair disk.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money I'll take a look if you want to post the card out to me. Drop me a PM.
