As the title suggests I'm looking for a nice curvy naked SV650 in exchange for my Ducati. It has done 23,600 miles and is in fantastic condition mechanically and cosmetically. I have come to a point in my life where I need a more upright riding position but still want a V twin. Thanks for taking the time to look. I'd go and have a look / listen / ride, then decide, you never know.

I can see where you're coming from with this but I have nothing to hide. My bike is in excellent condition and I would ride it any distance without hesitation (assuming my back would let me). I just want to get a nice SV out of this deal and thought this would be the place to do it. I recently sold a couple of scooters through ebay for a friend of mine and couldn't believe the stress it caused me with people wasting my time. Needless to say, I'm in no rush to repeat that experience. I don't think the deal is unreasonable. These Ducatis are at the cheaper end of the stable but they still have the 'wow' factor and I will really miss that. So there you go - a nice bike in exchange for a nice bike - that's all I want. Chris.

Thanks to those who showed interest in my Ducati. I am now the owner of this very tidy 'curvy'. I'm looking forward to a proper ride out so I can get a feel for the bike. It's got a hard act to follow as the Ducati was a truly special bike to own.http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a604/noddysbestfriend/DSCF2411_zpsada7e892.jpg

Glad you got the bike you were after. Looks in good condition too. Welcome to the forum properly. All you need to do now is start thinking about getting a Triumph and you'll become a full member everyone on here does eventually.. Enjoy the new toy :-)

Oi I take offense to that comment. Some of us have got BMWs. That is a lovely looking curvy. With the weather surely due to improve soon everyone will be out of hibernation soon.
