Don't know what it's like where you are, but I have turned out the lights and just watching the sleet battering my windows and listening to the wind.

I'll be chucking the chainsaw in the car tomorrow, gotta bring a few trees and branches down.

Its horrific. Most wind iv seen in a while!

Struggled to stay on the right side of the road coming back home in a van this evening.

I dont blame you for making the most of the trees!

I am most thankful for Gore-tex, but I had to stand in the shower after to wash the salt off. :p

We got trees down all over, one bit of the forest has had a group of 20 trees knocked flat, I had to climb over them to walk the dogs this morning. Two static caravans up the road have been destroyed. the road to the village was closed twice yesterday afternoon and some roads still closed. The A525 Nant-y-Garth Pass (twisty road from Ruthin to the Ponderosa) is still closed due to fallen trees.

Pretty mad here yesterday :nomore:

There's plenty of roof tiles missing around here. Neighbour has lost his ridge tiles and most of his fence. We've been lucky though! No damage.
The local Fire service were calling lads and lasses in on rest day last night to help.

Pretty much like that around here. Friend in Flintshire stated that there had been a reported gust of 106 MPH. I had to turn the TV and 30 W amp virtually full up to drown the wind. Though we never lost power like some poor souls, it did flicker a bit. Not surprised about the Nant-Y-Garth pass. The A483 was also closed in several locations.

.Not surprised about the Nant-Y-Garth pass.

Cycled up there today and literally dozens of trees had come down across the road, all cleared now of course.
