I need a new visor for my Arai, it's £3 more than that entire helmet!

The quality of that Helmet is really poor. I wouldn't wear it at all above around town speeds, only wear it when I take a friend for a quick spin on the bike (normally give them my helmet).

Other low-end helmets can be had for the same price and they are much better put together.

The socks are fab. Bought some last year.

I bought the compression stuff last year, never worn the trousers and only worn the top a couple of times, good in mega hot weather but we don't get many days like that.

That compression wear in the Advert doesn't look like that when I put it on :-(

The ski socks I bought 2 years ago are wearing well. Look a better job than the motorbike socks.

does anyone have any experience of their tool quality?

Had a set of the folding allen keys and some adjustable spanners from them, never been any problems.

I looked at the spanners they had a couple of weeks ago. And they looked really poor quality, nothing better for rounding bolts than cheep tools. This set may be better.

Chris, worth having a good look, some of the tools carry the German TUV stamp and are pretty good, of course others are cheap crap but worth dropping by to find out which.

I don't think I have one that nearby to me so I can't really, but hey, never mind.

Crivit underwear is OK and seems to do the job, quality not as good as forcefield but then that is reflected in the price diference. Would I buy again probably yes when other sets wear out.

I have Aldi, Lidl, Halfords Professional, and others manufacturers tools. Many, if not most, of Aldi and Lidl tools are, as stated earlier, TUV stamped. I have never had any issues with them and the fact that most carry a 2-3 year guarantee is worth having. If you hunt around you can often find out who makes many of them. This is sometimes surprising as the product is exactly the same as a "branded" product at less cost and with an extended guarantee.

Take this one piece of advice. Don't buy CHEAP tools...ever!

Would agree with this, 99% of the time...

But - I picked up a set of Aldi's T-piece allen keys and they're genuinely excellent.

Are they as sexy as a Snap-On pack, no but functional and strong enough - yup.

I crashed wearing a pair of their gloves and they stood up very well, would recommend them.
