Well, I've bought a scooter to go to work on. I was fed up of pulling the Sprint out of the shed to travel the 5 miles to work everyday, so this came up on Facebook. It is a complete shed, but the engine seems to run fine & it feels straight, so ended up being a bargain (I hope). Can you guess what year it is? I love 16 year olds & the way they look after things. Oh by the way, I paid £250 for it. Taxed & tested till November.

It seems to be doing 100kmh heading straight for your garage door in the third pic. Probably didn't look any worse afterwards...

I'm actually gonna guess 2012.

I'll guess late 2012.

Is it an ASA 50?
Love the wavy front disc.

You cheated though Richie, so you can buy yourself some trainers ;)
It's actually a 2008 Peugeot Speedfight 2 50LC. It is such a shame these spoilt little brats that have things bought for them don't look after them. it was immaculate 8 months ago when his Father bought it for him.
Here it is after a wash. It still is a mess, but looks a lot better for a bit of a clean.

I should have recognised the make having taken my nephews Speedfight 100 apart enough times. When he bought it we found the headlamps had been changed to a couple of closed dichroic lamps usually found in domestic light fittings!

Instantly recognized that from my speedfight days! I actually used to remove my whole exhaust every month and prep & spray it with engine paint
Do that bike up and you'll make a pretty penny on it, the little toerags go nuts for them. I rattle canned one and made an instant £500

Just won a full Malossi 70cc kit for it on Ebay for £75, so the prep will be on for something special :)
