Hi there,

I'm planning on a Euro trip this May on my bike and will be riding around Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Austria and wanted to get some comprehensive breakdown cover should the worse happen. I'll be riding for 11days.

Just wondering whether people had any advice on this and whether the AA or RAC would be sufficient especially with transporting the bike back if it can't be fixed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used the AA for a trip to Germany last December. Not the cheapest but it covered the most. Best to call them up rather than do it online. Have you looked at Greenflag?

A lot on here use Rescuemycar.com. They do bikes as well. Good response times in the UK and not expsensive

Thanks for this. Rescuemycar doesn't look very official but good to hear they're legit. Had anyone had to use them whilst out there?

I get free break down cover with Carol Nash insurance and it includes Europe. Only used it once for a puncture in Devon and I have no complaints. Is your insurance due soon?
