Where have you had the most success when selling your motorcycles?

If u want to give it away. eBay as everyone wants something for nothing. And u get lots of I'll give u a dog, a bag of gobstoppers and a knackered escort for it!! I had minimal success on bike trader. A couple of nibbles but that was it. Sold all one of my bikes at a friends learner unit as lots of blokes passing there test have money to burn. My SV and my track bike owed me nothing so just went on eBay at 99p. Made a reasonable amount on both which I was happy with.

Ebay isn't bad-lots of fees & costs though
autotrader-good, reliable, value
MCN-same as autotrader
Gumtree-not unless you want hounding by bargain hunters who want everything for nothing & generally dodgy buyers
Pistonheads-good, reliable, fair costs & enthusiast
Forums for that make/model
Local paper
Local biker café
