Well not technically a ride. Just my 8 mile commute.
I checked the tyres and oil last week as there was a failed promise of good weather. got up this morning and it was firkin cold, a good frost. So a prospect of clear skies.
The day dawned about 6 and true to my guess, the skies were indeed clear. so leathers or textile. textile won. Bike out the garage and starts on the button. but wtf, indicator light flashing and won't turn off. about to put it back in the garage when dope. The hazards, turned them off and all well.
The ride in, wooden.
lots of nagging doubt, was the back wheel trying to overtake the front and kick out as I decelerate. or was it simply the frost, **** on the road etc.
I took it easy, but started to push as the confidence rose. But the road ran out as I got into work 15 mins quicker than the car would do.
Looking forward to riding home the long way.
