My German Shepard 'knows' Nialls bike and car, by sound before I hear him coming......even asleep he's 'up n patrolling'.........not a blink to any other car/bike going past. EXCEPT.........a certain Scooby goes past (same one each time).....n he's up fa 2/3 seconds before settling down again, Clever Pet!!

The Mrs took them to the vets today to get booster jabs or some such. £120. 2 stupid expensive dogs.

my girl knows my bike, car and my gf's bike n car, and my brothers car too. she also knows im due home at lunch times and at the end of the day. she knows we are getting to where we are going in the car and gets excited just before its in view. she knows more words than the combined cast of towie.

Have never seen TOWIE, but if the interview in the Radio Times is anything to go by ANY animal has a larger vocabulary than a cast member from TOWIE.

When I was a kid our spaniel used to get excited if mum put her coat on in case that meant walkies, unless she had put on lipstick. You see she wore a little bit of eye make up every day, but lippy meant she was going out to dinner or something else where the dog definitely wasn't welcome so he learnt it wasn't worth getting up if the lipstick was on. He also used to growl if she came home from having her hair done. Mum said it was nice that at least one member of the family noticed.

I'm guessing you have a smoke whilst walking the dog lol, be most odd for the dog to be a smoker.

Miya knows which draw is the cheese draw in the fridge. wont come if the others are opened but as soon as its the cheese one shes like an instant shadow.
similarly with her treat cupboard, PING! instantly appears.
