Hi you brainy lot.
Yesterday I replaced my fork seals and oil on my curvy, when I went out for a ride today it felt like i was turning left and right despite not turning the handlebars. I made sure that I put the same amount of oil in each leg and they're both the same height.
It's weird, any insight would be helpful, thanks

maybe forks are twisted in the yokes

How so?

You've not quite put them in straight, even though everything looks lined up.
Loosen the axle & lower yoke bolts and if its on a stand give the forks a shake and a pump if you can.
If not bounce them a couple of times, then tighten everything up, to see if that cures this trait

Ok, thanks very much.
I assumed that the yokes would keep them straight so it's useful to know that's not necessarily the case. I'll try and sort it out when I get the chance.
Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated :)

Once you've done that and its still the same, then check the levels in each fork again.
My SV tends to track along lines in the road, giving it that feeling

Ok, will do. Thanks very much for your help.
Yeah I find that too, I don't think that was what I was feeling though cos it felt worse than when it's just a dodgey bit of road

Sound likes forks twisted in the yokes.
Easiest way I've found to keep them straight is to back the clamps off and fit the axle then nip up the clamps

Thanks for a second opinion Andrew, I clamped up the forks then put the wheel on so that could explain in.
2 people saying the same thing is quite reassuring so I'll try what you've suggested when I get the time.
Thanks both of you! :)
