For sale is a very unique 21 litre long range fuel tank adapted for a suzuki sv650 1999-2002, carburetor versions only, This tank is ideal for those of you who want to travel further with less fuel stops or even racing, sv650 standard fuel tank only holds 17 litres so your getting a extra 4 litres with this tank. Also due to its large fuel capacity you can get 200 miles or more depending on your ridding style and mods. your original fuel senor and tap will fit this tank. Due to the way the tank has been made it promotes better air flow at the front as it is slightly risen and also at the back. The tank needs painting and you may also need to do some filling depending on how far you sand it back as there are some dins on the tank, i did start filling them in so you wont see them until you start sanding it down. There is a small amount of rust in the tank on the plate which was welded on to cover old fuel senor hole, you could replace it if you wanted to but its never bothered me. The tank was in use and is fuel tight. To use the tank you will need to customize your rider seat by cutting it down and a custom set of bolt on air filters will also be needed as you cant use your airbox it wont fit under the tank and finally you will need to make a strap to keep your battery in place all very easy to do. Honda VTR 1000 1997-2000 fuel caps fit this tank and Honda CBR 600 1995-1996 caps also fit.
