View Full Version : New SV?
Came across these images on G+. No other comments so might just be a Photoshop prank.

Looks like the frame and running gear are off the new Vstrom.

The black plastic insert below the tank with sv written on it doesnt look like it 'fits' and the yoke colours dont match. Fake.

Well, even if it's fake I am liking the "s" a lot.
Great design

Looks like its pre-release publicity for the new models, and it is apparently the SV1000. Though its an interesting look.

The naked version looks similar to the newer Hornet

A nice looking "concept" & I would be interested to see what they add to a modern SV :p
But would they really continue using the V-Twin?

Good lord they are some good looking bikes!
Not sure if I like the look alike GSXR nose on the fully faired model though, would love to see a front shot!

Well one thing for sure is it certainly won't be those forks and brakes. Or swing arm. Shame though.

Luca Bar Design are the ones who penned the MV 800 Rivale and SM concepts
I would say some truth in the pics, but they're lash up concepts so show to the board of Suzuki. Google Image search Luca Bar design and have a look at a lot of the things designed.
I will sound the broken record here, the pointy is at the end of it production life (engines been around since 1998 with only 2 updates).

It is about time the current model was pensioned off. No earthly reason why a replacement wouldn't use a vtwin, Suzuki need an ER6 equivalent after all.
Some of those "look what we rendered today" sites are great. I found one a while back that people submitted designs for what they thought the new iPhone or Galaxy should look like, complete with full "specifications" which were obviously dreamt up by ambitious 10 year olds, albeit 10 year olds with a rare talent for 3d modelling and Photoshop.

Looks like a cross between the GSR750 and the new V-strom.
Naked looks alright bar the exhaust, rear number plate mount/mudguard and potentialy the plastic on the tank. (mind you, that would all be removable except the latter)
