Stomach feels bloated and painful to touch, continually belching with a rotten egg stench every time. No energy, want to vomit. I know I need to see a quack, but no appointments available till Monday.
Any org advice. I just want to lie down. But stuck here for another hour.

I've had those symptoms before. After a torrent of brown water from the wrong hole later that evening and I was alright.
Local walk in centre, pronto.

Nearly a very nasty brown trouser moment averted, I didn't realise I could still sprint. Just hope I can survive the drive home.

Soluble paracetamol, it'll kill the tummy bug

Nearets walk in centre is over 20 miles away, no wonder A&E gets hit when the GP says closed.

I am only a nursing student but I would do reading around Helicobacter Pylori and Stomach Ulcers if this tends to be something that occurs frequently.
The symptoms of a H. pylori infection are:
Abdominal Pain and discomfort that does not come and go.
Nausea and vomiting - this can happen with blood in the vomitus
Very Dark colour stool due to possible stomach ulcer (causal from H. pylori)
Fatigue - General tiredness
Feeling full after eating only a small amount of food
The test for H pylori is a blood test to check for antibodies for H. pylori.
I had a stomach ulcer myself once and it was an assumption that I may have had H. pylori. Test was done and was found I was negative and that it was just down to stress.
Regardless - best advice: Go see a quack!

Don't eat fruit.
Drink Yakult yoghurt.
I'd suggest a whiskey but that's like suggesting a Wiganer eats pies!

What makes you think you need to see a doctor? Unless there was blood in it when you had your visit to the toilet you haven't anything that's going to kill you quickly, and the doctor won't have anything that will fix you any quicker. Go home, have another dump if necessary and maybe take a paracetamol if you really feel "sick". 99% chance all you have is a tummy bug, there's always some kind doing the rounds. If it persists for more than three or four days then reconsider this advice...

I felt a bit like that on Tuesday night. I think there's a stomach bug going around at the moment, as other people have mentioned it too. I was in quite a bit of pain for one night then was much better the next day.

Starve a bug and feed a cold, that's what I was always told.
Supposedly though, bananas, rice, applesauce, tea (black) and toast (dry) are relatively safe to eat on a funny tummy.

The main thing is to keep hydrated, and not on alcohol!

Well spent most of the night sat on the throne.
I have gut problems for the past 30 years, and now swear by Lansoprazole. I have been admitted twice for a bleeding ulcer and currently under considerable stress, so assumed the worse. Hence my desire to see the doctor. As the symptoms changed last night from stomach pain and the rotten egg belching which normally preceded the throwing up of a bloody gut contents to a diarrhea management problem, I had realised it was simply a nasty tummy bug and gone to a water only diet for the evening.
Weighed myself this morning, lost in one day 1.5 Kg. that is one heck of a load of ****. So now on the Immodium. But typically no sympathy from the family. Only Jasper appreciates I am not well and wants to cuddle up with me.
Next dilemma! Football this afternoon. Will my constitution survive? How do I spend 2 hours before in the pub without beer?

I spent 8 years taking Omeprazole. Helped me out to no end. I empathise with your situation dude, glad you got it managed.

I suggest staying in the toilet........:) Glad you're on the mend.
i had high helicobacter levels which is the main cause of stomach ulcers. a combination of antibiotics and omeprazole sorted me right out. it then aspired that my long term problem of chronic indigestion was in fact severe angina. one 5 graft by-pass later and i have never had indigestion again.

Well, my Saturday night comprised of being woke up every hour by a three year old with pants filled with what looked like latte coloured melted ice cream.
I can confirm it certainly wasn't!
Pegasus began to feel ill on Thursday evening, and on Saturday morning I thought he may have pneumonia.
He's got a case of severe chickenpox. He's extremely Ill :-(
