Hi any mountain bikers on here?

money getting tight so I got new hobby of MTBing to help with my skills on two wheels.

Looking for other MTBers in surrey area who are up for traveling to places like swinley forest and astonhill and wales to go mountain biking.

I enjoy all mountain/downhill stuff with jumps here and there. Anyone up for joining me? I have a car and a bike rack for 3 bikes. sharing petrol and probs camping at places to save money is the idea. i'm 25 no kids, no responsibilitys apart from work and easy going unless you put me on a sports bike.

this is my new hobby until i can get track monies.

Yeah, I do a bit of riding. Mostly cross country, I prefer the bigger hills of wales and scotland.

I too have a car bought specifically for getting me and my bike to wales. Saving money sounds like a good idea to me, given that I am no longer employed. and making my own way in this world.

If you don't fancy a weekend of it, you could always arrange a day out down at Leith Hill or Box Hill near Dorking, loads of good riding around there.

I'm at swinley forest most weekends as its my local. Trails are tame to what do I prefer but at least its something.

I'm pretty into mountain biking.
I definitely wouldn't class it as a cheap hobby though,
it'll start out cheap but you'll soon be spending more on it than you do on the motors :(

My MTB cost more than my motor :/
Such good fun though, well worth it.
