Cerrtainly not the same bloke in L3nny's vid as this one has no skills at all.
After taking a bend on the wrong side of the road this idiot aims his bike right where the deer is going and slams right into it.
Perhaps he thought the deer was going to apply the brakes and yield the right of way?
I almost feel bad that he rode off unscathed. :smt074

He didn't even see if the deer was okay, evil man.

Could of been worse. Could of been a truck comin the other way, which is wouldnt of seen due to his silly line around the bend

It's a rally... I doubt there will be many on-coming trucks...
What is he gonna do? Ride off into the forest, chasing after it to see if it's ok?

I suppose the riding style ks more understandable if it's a race, but poor deer
Didn't realise it was a race, that explains a lot.
Maybe the deer was a streaker
Reminds me of this

Most rallys in the US are held on open roads.
The few that are on closed roads would have banners and people everywhere and I'm fairly confident this lad wouldn't make the entry field.

From the video description:
This is closed course racing (road is closed to the public) so both sides of the road are fair game. I don't condone crossing the yellows or speeding when on open roads.

Back to the OP, the guy was pretty lucky. He nearly Roe toff his bike. Then he'd have had to Sika compensation deal from the organisers.

The rider was lucky this time, next time he may not springbok so quickly.
